Lucky Jerky Peppered Jerky Seasoning 24oz
The jerky flavor most of us grew up eating. It’s a traditional, well balanced base with coarse ground black pepper that gives the jerky just the right amount of zing. This flavor isn’t spicy, but it is bold. It works great on meats from chicken to bison.
Making jerky at home is one of the fastest growing segments in the outdoor market. Folks are beginning to realize just how easy it is to make great tasting long lasting jerky on their own. Our kits make it even easier. We spent a lot of time thinking about how to simplify the jerky making process as much as humanly possible and we believe we’ve created a winner.
The kit will make both slab style jerky and ground and formed jerky. Both styles of jerky start the same way; simply dissolve 1 packet of cure and 1 packet of seasoning into 1 cup of cold water. The marinade that is created is then added to 5 lbs of lean meat. If making slab jerky, allow the meat to soak in the marinade for 24 – 36 hours. If you are making ground and formed jerky, mix the marinade into the ground meat until the mixture becomes very sticky, then extrude the mixture onto a drying rack and cook per the instructions.
Black Pepper flavor is a bold flavor with notes of garlic and onion. It is designed to accent the flavor of the meat on which you are using the seasoning. If you desire a stronger black pepper flavor, simply add fresh, ground black pepper to the marinade. Always season to taste.
