The answer to this question is not known. We must defer this question to the person’s Physician/Obstetrician. However, when in doubt, Personal Protective Equipment such as gloves should be worn.
Can Sani-Cloth products be used on computer hardware, touch screens and keyboards?
All Sani-Cloth formulas are safe for use on computer hardware and keyboards. We do not recommend Sani-Cloth for use on touch screens or monitor screens as it may deteriorate the coating on the screen. Can Sani-Cloth be used in the kitchen or cafeteria of a hospital/nursing home?
PDI’s Sani-Cloths are not designed for use on food contact surfaces. Sani-Cloth Plus, Super Sani-Cloth, and Sani-Cloth HB are considered disinfectants for non-food contact surfaces. Gloves and other personal protective equipment should be worn as per the specific Sani-Cloth® product label directions for use.
What happens if the surface dries before the stated contact time on the product label?
The reason surfaces may dry sooner than the contact time stated on the label depends on the temperature and humidity of the room or environment. As per label directions: “treated surfaces must remain wet for the stated contact time on the product label. Use additional wipe(s) if needed to assure continuous contact time stated on the label.”
